    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Retired NHL Great Brad Marsh Bikes Across Canada for Boys & Girls Clubs

Ottawa, Ontario (April 16, 2012) - A press conference has been scheduled for Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 2 pm announcing former NHL player Brad Marsh’s bike ride across Canada in support of the Boys and Girls Club of Canada. It will be held at the Boys and Girls Club Britannia Clubhouse, 2825 Dumaurier Avenue, Ottawa, ON. All media are invited to attend.

The conference will showcase the launch and viewing of Brad’s moving short documentary, “Living the Adventure of Life ONE 90 Day Challenge @ A Time.” Brad will speak about the ride and representatives of the Boys and Girls Club as well as some Ottawa Senators Alumni will also be in attendance. There will be a short Q & A segment with interview and photo opportunities.

Brad Marsh, retired 15-year veteran of the NHL, current President of the Ottawa Senators Alumni Association, renewed business man and philanthropist, is back in playing shape as he prepares to take his bike out on the open road and bike across Canada in support of the Boys and Girls Club of Canada.

Following the philosophy he shares with others to “Work Hard - Do Your Best - Have Fun,” Brad is riding across Canada to raise awareness and funds for this important youth charity and will be documenting his ride along the way as part of his ongoing 90 Day Challenge events.

The mission of the Boys and Girls Club is to provide a safe, supportive place where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships and develop confidence and skills for life. For more information about the club visit http://www.bgccan.com
